The first in a four-book series, this book will assess your use of Standard English Conventions. First you will test and asses your skills. Then you will build skills in sentence structure (sentence parts, complex sentences, fragments, run-ons, parallelism & modifiers) grammar & usage (pronouns, tenses, subject-verb , usage, wordy & awkward writing) and mechanics (capitalization, punctuation, homonyms). Each two-page lesson starts with a skill review modeling good writing, practice by example, and then GED practice questions. At the end of each unit, you will be given a chance to edit and correct several errors in a passage provided in the book.
